This 30 hour position involves a mix of volunteer management, casework & administrative responsibilities for site-based mentoring programs. Bachelor's degree in education, social services or a related field required. Ability to work flexible hours & to manage diverse responsibilities. Pay commensurate with experience. Teaching certification require, pay commensurate with experience with preschool children ($12-$18 hourly) - 20 hours per week

AA degree of two years of college in a related field or equivalent certification, experience in a school age setting (33-35 hours weekly)
- School Age Group Leaders
High School Diploma/GED, with experience working in a school age setting or with school age children, must be 18 years old.

- Greater Waterville Area Communities for Children & Youth
is seeking part-time Site Coordinator for its After School Aspirations Program (ASAP) located at the Albert S. Hall School. ASAP is an after school program funded by a 21 st Century Community Learning Grant that strives to improve school achievement in low-performing students. All students in the program are paired with a Colby mentor to help support their academic success. Students in the ASAP program are also offered free Art programming and participate in various Community Service projects throughout the school year.
The ASAP Site Coordinator will be responsible for overall programming including the coordination of Colby mentors. The ASAP program runs Mondays through Thursdays. Applicant’s must be organized, enjoy working with children, have a degree in the education field or have equal experience working with elementary aged children. The position will begin immediately and run through mid-May following the Waterville Public School calendar.
